(AgapePress)- Debuting today is a unique new radio show that deals with the homosexual agenda from a conservative Christian viewpoint. Straight Talk Radio is hosted by Stephen and Irene Bennett, founders of Stephen Bennett Ministries.

For more than 10 years, Stephen Bennett lived as a homosexual, until he was delivered from that lifestyle after accepting Jesus as his Savior. Now the evangelist and ministry co-founder helps others who want deliverance from unwanted homosexual attractions. He says his new show will tackle a number of compelling issues related to homosexuality and the homosexual agenda.

"We're going to have the most intriguing guests on there, very lively debates with many gay activists," Bennett says. "We'll be addressing many different topics on Straight Talk Radio, from people coming out of the gay lifestyle to how families can minister to a [homosexual] family member, loved one, or friend."

The host of the pro-family radio program says a major purpose of the show is to communicate the same truths his ministry seeks to communicate, namely that "people are not born homosexual, and that through the power of Jesus Christ, homosexual men and women can completely change." He promises that the content of Straight Talk Radio will be something people are "going to want to tune in and listen to."

Meanwhile, co-host Irene Bennett notes that the show will include lots of important information to raise families' awareness of homosexual issues and help them to know how they can address them. "If parents are educated," she points out, "then they can protect their children from the things out there, which they probably don't really have an idea of what's going on."

Irene says she is confident the program will "catch on like wildfire and resonate with many individuals worldwide." Through the show, she says she and her co-host husband are hoping to "educate, encourage, engage and equip people to understand this extremely important issue."

Formerly a daily one-minute public service announcement running on numerous Christian and conservative radio stations, the Bennetts' Straight Talk Radio has been "revamped" into a daily half-hour program with a lively, information-packed format. The show is debuting on one of the largest Christian AM stations in America -- Denver, Colorado's KLTT 670 AM, a part of the Crawford Broadcasting Network. The show will also stream daily on demand on the Worldwide Web at StraightTalkRadio.org.
