Author: Sow 'Seeds of Doubt' in Minds of Muslims

(AgapePress) - A Christian author and expert on Islam says Christians don't need to become complacent when it comes to the threat posed by the world's fastest growing religion. But he says Christians need to be properly equipped to witness to Muslims.

In his book Secrets of the Koran, Don Richardson says witnessing to a Muslim is different from witnessing to people of other faiths. Richardson says Christians who witness to Muslims must know that there are parts of the Koran which contradict God's character.

"Mohammed deserves to be doubted. He did not conduct himself in such a way as to give evidence that he was really a prophet sent from the God of the Bible," Richardson says.

"He deserves to be doubted, so let's sow seeds of doubt. It's a mercy if you can plant seeds of doubt in the mind of a Muslim about the Koran."

For example, Richardson says one passage in the Koran tells men -- if they care about chastity -- not to compel their female slaves to be prostitutes. But if they do force them into prostitution, Allah will understand.

Although the President and even some religious leaders have called Islam a "religion of peace," Richardson says a careful study of the Koran proves otherwise. He says Christians need to know that the Koran promotes the murder of those who do not convert to Islam. That is important to know, he says, especially since Muslims have some high political aspirations in America.

"Muslims have targeted the United States of America to have a Muslim candidate run for president in 2020," he says. "And if that ever happens -- and I'm not sure that it will -- he will have enormous amounts of oil money to pay for his campaign."
