A Photo Tribute to the 'Ten Commandments Monument'

Photos by Allie Martin
August 21, 2003

(AgapePress) - The 5,280-pound granite monument at the center of controversy involving Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore contains more than just the Ten Commandments. As shown below, it also displays the national motto -- "In God We Trust"-- as well as words from the Declaration of Independence, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Judiciary Act.

The photos are arranged in the order one would see if walking clockwise around the monument.

Please be patient while the images on this page load.
