(AgapePress) - A leading family-values advocate says it will not be long before the Clinton-Gore Administration and the radical homosexuals come after churches that teach and preach against homosexuality.

The Chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition says the House vote to revoke the federal charter of the Boy Scouts of America is the beginning of a very slippery, dark slope which threatens every constitutionally guaranteed freedom. Rev. Lou Sheldon says he believes churches will soon be targeted for telling the truth about homosexuality.

"I believe we are at that point in history," Sheldon says, "where the [militant] homosexual advocates--to promote and advocate their lifestyle--have gotten a grip on society [so] that [it] believes a lie that you're 'born that way', ...that this is the 'new minority', [and] that no one can ever change."

Sheldon says this influence has resulted in those who are against homosexuality being labeled.

"Therefore, if you speak out any negative thing about that lifestyle, you might as well be a racist, or a hypocrite, or as they call us--'homophobes'."

Sheldon says churches of all denominations that condemn homosexuality should prepare for the next wave of harassment and government intimidation. He says Al Gore is a friend to the homosexual movement and actively seeks their support.
